Arab American Cultural Festival A Success
The first Arab American Cultural Festival was a success. The festival which took place on May 19 - May 22, will be an annual event. ACC thanks the organizers, sponsors, performers, participants, and volunteers that made the festival a success. The festival will grow with more activities and will be one of the premier festivals in Houston.

Consul General of Morocco Visits ACC
Mr. Hassan Khantach, Consul General of the Kingdom of Morocco, and Mr. Adil Embarch, Economic Consular, visited ACC on May 18, 2005 and met with ACC President and Board members. The guests toured the center and were briefed on ACC mission & activities.

AMBASSADORS OF LEBANON & SYRIA VISIT ACC
Ambassador of Lebanon to the United States, Mr. Farid Abboud and Ambassador of Syria, Mr. Imad Moustapha visited ACC yesterday and met with ACC President and Board members. The ambassadors were accompanied by Mr. Nijad Fares. The guests toured the center and were briefed on ACC mission & activities.

H.E. Amr Moussa Visits ACC

His Excellency Amr Moussa, Secretary General of League of Arab States, visited ACC on February 1, 2005 and met with ACC President & Board of Directors. His Excellency was accompanied by the Arab League Ambassador to the United States Dr. Hussein Hassouna.

ACC Celebrates 10th Anniversary

With a great mood of optimism, the Arab American Cultural and Community Center celebrated it's "10th Anniversary" on Saturday, December 4th, 2004 at the Grand Ballroom of the ACC building.

ACC honored and recognized community members who contributed and participated in the success of the ACC, including Founding Members, Trustees, Boards and Administrations, Donors, Gala Chairs and their teams, and the Contributors in kind. Many recognition brass plaques were on display, together with lists of past contributors and individual panels for each of the 9 "Unity and Friendship" Galas, held annually by ACC since 1996.

ACC is moving forward with great anticipation for the future as we expand our programs and continue to serve this community.
